Shaukat & Company was established on Old Brompton Road in London in 1976 by entrepreneur Shaukat Habib Nasser Rattansey, who started this line from his fascination with fabrics and the Middle East! The company is a legend in the Middle East, known in the Gulf States as a place to meet and greet while buying fabrics to your hearts content. Shaukat & Company has grown from a niche retail outlet catering soley for Middle Eastern clients to a well established company attracting buyers from all over the world.
